Meet Alex from Girl in a Country Song

Hey guys! I'm Summer and today I'm going to be doing an interviewing from one of the heroes of the Sweetest Obsession box set! I'd like to introduce you to Alex from Avelyn Paige's book Girl in a Country Song To make things easier, I'll have my words in red and Alex in blue. 

Hey Alex!! I know a lot of people are excited to meet you so tell us a little bit about yourself. What's your name and where are you from? 

Alex McCloud. Willow Branch, Kentucky

Kentucky! Wow! How's the Slugger Museum? *hears crickets* Oh Well. Never mind then Let's get to it. What's your favorite thing to do?

Playing my guitar and writing new songs.

How fun! I bet its really cool to create songs but What makes you angry? Are you short-tempered? How do you overcome your anger?

Nothing makes me angrier than a certain brunette woman who won’t give me the time of day. How many times can a guy apologize for being stupid in high school? 

haha well... sometimes we as girls remember bad things for a long time... but enough about that. What is your most cherished childhood memory?

Just about any memory I have when Iz, but mostly, sitting on her front porch in the middle of the night and praying her daddy didn’t catch us.

Awww thats sweet Alex. If given the complete freedom to start afresh, what profession would you choose and why?

I wouldn’t change my profession one bit. Country music is my life. I’d just make sure that I didn’t leave the most important thing behind this time. 

Well it sounds like your set in your goals. That's good. What about if you were given a chance to skip work for a day, how would you spend the entire day?

Spending it on the farm back home with Iz. There’s something about stubborn cows and the spell of manure that settles a restless man like me. Now, don’t you be giving me that weird look. You live in Nashville long enough and you’ll be missing those farm smells, too. 

Uh well alrighty then...moving on. What's your favorite position? I know its personal, but you brought up cow manure so now we are kinda even in this awkward conversations. Plus, I just gotta know! ;)

Well, ain’t that a how do you do. Sugar, I’m not about to pillow talk here to everyone. What I do behind closed doors isn’t something I’m willing to share. But, I’ll this much. When you have the right girl, positions are the last thing on your mind or tongue. 

*blinks* Um while I try to recover from that hot comment why don't you tell us why we should check out your book?
