Sumerlicious Sessions: Jackson's Justice by @MaddieTWrites #spanking #newrelease

Hiyah! I've got Maddie Taylor with me for her new release Jackson's Justice!

Summary:

Twenty-year-old Jenny Harper has been in love with Heath Jackson since the day she saw him leap from a galloping horse to save an old woman when she was eleven years old. Over the years, Jenny has watched the women swarm around Heath, but she has her heart set on him and she is not one to give up easily. One way or another, she will show Heath she is a grown woman, ready for a husband, not the child he remembers tagging along after his younger brother.

Unfortunately for Jenny, ever since he was left at the altar by a foolish girl who ran off to marry a wealthy old man, Heath Jackson has sworn off marriage, preferring instead the company of widows and saloon girls. And in any case, though he has secretly lusted after her for years, as far as Heath is concerned Jenny is too young, too much like family, and too eager to wed.

But when tragedy strikes, putting more on Jenny’s shoulders than she can bear, her only hope of saving her family home lies in marrying quickly. Can Heath sit back while other men vie for her affections? Can he bear to watch in silence as she chooses a weakling when she desperately needs a strong man like him, one who will keep her safe and give her the sound discipline she needs when her impulsive ways place her in danger? Or will he stand up and claim what should be his, even if it means risking his heart again?

Publisher’s Note: Jackson’s Justice is a largely stand-alone sequel to Marshal’s Law. It is a full-length erotic romance novel that contains sexual scenes and spankings, including domestic discipline in a historical setting. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.
Excerpt

At one point as Jenny played, her head turned and her gaze scanned the crowd. His followed, wondering if those pretty eyes would land on a sweetheart, but she didn’t linger on anyone too long until she came to a stop on his family’s pew. The gorgeous green orbs shifted to him and they widened in surprise. Now, she did linger as her lips curved upward in a small smile. His body stirred as he returned her gaze.

He leaned to his mother. “Jenny Harper. How old is she now, sixteen?”

“No, dear, she’s older than that, eighteen, at least. She finished school this past spring. Why? Are you interested?”

Great. He had piqued her curiosity. The badgering would begin, again.

“She’s younger than you, but not so much,” she whispered. “She’s sweet and kind with not a greedy bone in her body, I’d swear to it. So there’s no need to worry about that.” She patted his arm. “What am I saying? You’ve known Jenny and her family for years. She’d be perfect for you, Heath.”

His eyes shot back to the gallery, to Jenny. She was playing the closing song with her eyes locked on him. As she was caught openly staring, a becoming blush colored her cheeks and she glanced back at the keys.

Fresh from the schoolroom, she was looking for love and marriage no doubt. Considering his twenty-nine years, his thoughts about a teenager seemed down right indecent.

No.

She wasn’t for him. Marriage wasn’t for him. He’d learned that the hard way. He pushed her from his thoughts.

Now for an interview with Maddie!

If I gave you an elephant where would you hide it? Um, how do you hide and elephant. Could it be a cute fuzzy pink stuffed one? But then I wouldn’t want to hide it at all.

What is your favorite color of socks to wear? Boring… white, but they have fuschia, teal or baby blue toes and heels.

Do you wear boxers or briefs? Ha! Neither.

If you were a cookie, which would you be? White chocolate chip macadamia nut. My favorite.

Name one actor/actress you would love to get naughty with? Easy. Joe Manganiello, my inspiration for all three Jackson brothers since they look so much alike. YUM-EE!

Do you suffer from sleepwalking? As a child I did. My parents would find me missing from my bed in the middle of the night and have to play hide and go seek for Maddie. I’d end up in closets, under beds and other odd places. Fortunately, I never left the house.

If you were given a chance, would you enter Big Brother? Nope. Never even seen the show.

What is your favorite daily wear attire? Jammies, but alas, I have a day job so business casual for me most days. Jeans would be nice.

Women or Cars? Uh, cars. I’d like a Lamborghini Gallardo, but since the price tag is $250, 000 and I’m not quite EL James.  I’ll settle for a Mazda MX-5 Miata for $25K. Ain’t she sweet?

Do you like dogs or cats? Both, I have 2 dogs and 1 cat! Love all animals J

If I came to your home and looked inside the refrigerator, what would I find? A bottle of sweet red Barefoot wine, OJ, leftover salad (the good kind with cheese and ham and beans), lots of lunch meat, we eat soup and sandwiches a lot during the week. The day job and all. Oh, and Yoplait yogurt; key lime pie, pina colada and harvest peach, mmmm!

Tell me how many hats you have in your house? Me personally?None. I am so not a hat person. The guys, hmmm…. Tons of baseball caps too numerous to count.

How many pairs of shoes do you own? 2 dozen, that’s moderate, yes? Tell that to my husband.

What's your bad quality? I stay up to late writing and my hubby fusses. In fact, he’s hollering come to bed as I type this. LOL

If you were a t-shirt, what color would you be? Why? Pink, ‘cause I’m a girl.

If you were a tree what would you be? OMG, did you just go there Kristin? Really???

Hey! I've gotta be creative. I bet you have never been asked that before. Have you? Now tell me what was the best thing before sliced bread? Toilet paper! I know this, I researched it for my series. They did have it in 1878 but it was special ordered medicated wipes by Gaetti

If you were a character from 'Weeds,' which one would, you be? Sorry, never watched the show. Is it about pot?
Watch it and find out ;) Do you speak with your dog? Of course, Mr. Brown and I have meaningful conversations daily.

If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done? I’ve failed. Happens at the day job all the time and they give you more work! That means less time for writing. ARG!

Do you know how to drop an egg onto a concrete floor without cracking it? This one blows my mind. I give. How?

Check on YouTube. Lot's of fun ways. Hey why isn't the number 11 pronounced as onety one? Wouldn’t it be oneteen?

Describe yourself; what do you think about yourself and do you think people perceive you in the same way? Okay, this one is not fun. Introspection is tough. Next!

Which is your most favorite book ever? Gone with the Wind, of course.

Which is the one television character that you simply adore? Currently, I want Raylan Givens on Justified, since Joe M is no longer available.

What kind of music do you like? Most, classic rock, pop, even some classical. Not a big fan of country but I like some, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum (I love her, LOL)

Which is your favorite genre of movies? RomCom, naturally.

What do you do when you feel very sad or depressed? Eat Chocolate!

What makes you angry? Are you short-tempered? How do you overcome your anger? It takes a lot to tick me off, but I have to admit I suffer from road rage on occasion.

Which is the best vacation you've ever had?A weeklong trip to Canada at the Wildwood resort, which was kind of like the dirty dance resort in Virginia. It was a family reunion trip before my mother passed away. She was feeling good, looking beautiful and had all of her children and grandbabies around her. I miss her. <sniffle, for reals>

What kind of kid were you, naughty or nice? I was a middle child, I watched my older sister be nice and my little brother be naughty. I was so entertained by them, I never got in trouble.

If given complete freedom to start afresh, what profession would you choose and why? I’d be an author, but start out in my 20’s

What is the quality you most like in a man? There are so many. I suppose, humor. Life is too short not to laugh.

What is the quality you most like in a woman? Boobs?LOL <snort> Seriously, the capacity to love your children unconditionally. You’d think it comes naturally, but not for some.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse? A day at the beach.haha

What or who is the greatest love of your life? My husband of more than 2 decades.

Where would you most like to live? Um…. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, at the beach. Charleston area would suit me to a T.

What is your motto? So many stories, so little time.
