Sumerlicious Sessions: Interview with Avery - Finding Submission

Hiyah everyone! Today I have with me a very special guest. Avery from Finding Submission! She answered some of my questions and told me about her new book and I want to share it with you!
Hiyah Avery! Thanks for visiting me! Just a couple quick questions for you. Do you like dogs or cats?

Have you seen who I live with? Preston would never allow animals. “They have hair and they get it on me and the furniture.” No animals for us.

If I came to your home and looked inside the refrigerator, what would I find?

Everything in Rubbermaid containers, labeled and dated. But if he isn’t around, move the containers and you’ll find chocolate and pop. I hide them in containers labeled “Lettuce”.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

I have a pair of shoes to match almost all my outfits.. And I even have a few to match my lingerie. I even have a couple that match my striped kitty outfits. Preston spoils me. He buys me shoes as a reward.

What's your bad quality?

Well, if you read Megan Michaels’ book about me, you know that I’m too mouthy and sarcastic. Oh, and I swear—a lot. I’ve gotten better, and catch myself before the sarcasm slips out. But Preston says I still swear too much.

If you were a tree what would you be?

A pussy willow. You know….kitty…pussy. Get it? Oh, wait—wut? It’s not a tree. Mmmmm Oh a Christmas Tree!! I love Christmas, we got engaged around Christmas. That’s perfect!!

What makes you angry? Are you short-tempered? How do you overcome your anger?

Well, I become angry when I’m cornered or forced into a situation. I don’t like that feeling. And don’t even think of telling me I can’t leave a room or house. Ask Preston. I’m pretty compliant now, but my bare bottom has paid the price to get me here.

What kind of kid were you, naughty or nice?

My father says I was a very compliant and obedient child. Very easy going. But as I got older, I became a thorn in my father’s side, or so he says.

What is your idea of fun?

Teasing Preston. I love poking him and making him just angry enough that he’ll chase me around the house and give me a fun-ishment. I love making him laugh and giving him a run for his money.

If given a chance to skip work for a day, how would you spend the entire day?

In the playroom on some of my favorite toys—like the vibrating saddle and my kitty bed. Yep, we’d spend the whole day in the playroom.

If given a choice, which animal would you want to be? Why?

Have you read Megan’s book at all???? Yeah, a kitten for sure. Because my owner is the best.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

I think I have it already…is it possible to be happier than this? I don’t think so.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

I’m impulsive. I don’t always think before I do things.

On what occasion do you lie?

Well----is this a trick question. :::looks over her shoulder to see if Preston is around:::::: Did he put you up to this? I used to lie to get out of a spanking. But I’ve learned that it’s better to get one spanking for whatever I did wrong, than to get an extra spanking for lying too. So, I don’t lie. **whispers—“are you sure he isn’t around?**

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

My bottom. I think it’s too big. Preston loves it—he thinks it’s perfect. ::::eye roll:::::

Thanks for answering the questions Avery! You did a really great job! Don't worry Preston won't get mad at you for answering my questions! I hope they weren't too hard. Now, if you don't mind let's tell my readers about your book!

Preston Harrison was the picture of the gentleman Southern lawyer, as handsome and affable, as he was strict and precise. His ordered professional life suited him and his temperament, not a thing out of place, not an event unplanned. But he was more than a lawyer though — he was also a Dom, and he made sure his personal life and professional life never intersected. Never that is until his world is turned upside down by one Avery Beauchamp, a stubborn, adorable, and way too sassy pocket Venus.

Being the only daughter of a respected Judge should’ve set Avery up for a life of ease, of privilege. But Avery had a habit of not doing anything she should — she only did the things she wanted. Marching to the beat of her own (very smart-mouthed) drummer had always served the headstrong girl well… until the day she ran afoul of a little thing called the law.

A strict southern lawyer and a color-outside-the-lines misdemeanor offender should have been like oil and water. But when a Judge’s daughter finds herself on the wrong side of the law, she’s presented with a choice: a fine and possible jail time, or an alternative sentence. Preston — against his better judgment — finds himself agreeing to the rather unique sentence for the wayward girl: house arrest for Avery.

There was one problem for Avery though: the house where she would serve her sentence wasn’t hers — it was Preston’s. Worse, as she learns what working for the strict Preston Harrison really means — and how deep her own repressed desires might go — she fears that she might lose more than her freedom to the devastatingly handsome Dom. She might lose her heart too.
